Roborock Q10 S5+ review: long dust-bag life, simpler mopping

The Q10 S5+ is for people who mostly want the vacuuming automated. Its station empties the dust bin for up to about ten weeks, and the mop lifts on carpet. Mop washing and drying aren't part of this package.

Good fit if…

  • Vacuum-first homes where mopping is a light daily wipe
  • Buyers who want a widely owned model (over 20,000 Amazon ratings)
  • Pet hair on carpets and hard floors

Look elsewhere if…

  • You want the dock to wash and dry the mop for you — the listing doesn't mention it
  • You have thick rugs: the mop lifts up to 8 mm, less than the 15 mm stated for the Qrevo 2 Pro and Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

What stands out

  • Self-emptying station with a 2.7 L bag Roborock rates for up to 70 days
  • 10,000 Pa suction, per Roborock
  • Sonic-vibration mopping, up to 3,000 scrubs per minute
  • Ultrasonic carpet detection lifts the mop and boosts suction

Keep in mind

  • No mop washing or drying mentioned in the listing
  • Lowest stated suction of the robots we cover
  • 8 mm mop lift is modest for high-pile rugs

What it is

The Q10 S5+ is a robot vacuum and mop with a self-emptying station, not a full washing dock. That’s the key difference from the Qrevo models on this site.

The station: dust handled, mop not

Roborock says the 2.7-liter bag gives up to 70 days of maintenance-free cleaning. That’s the longest stated bag life among the models we cover. The listing doesn’t mention mop washing or drying, so plan on rinsing the mop pad yourself.

Suction and hair

It’s rated at 10,000 Pa. That’s the lowest of the robots we cover, but it’s aimed at everyday dust, crumbs, and pet hair on carpets and hardwood. Against tangles, it uses a JawScrapers comb main brush and a separate anti-tangle side brush.

Mopping and carpets

The VibraRise 2.0 system vibrates the mop up to 3,000 times per minute. When the robot detects carpet with its ultrasonic sensor, it lifts the mop up to 8 mm and turns up the suction.

What Amazon buyers say, in numbers

More than 20,000 ratings, averaging about 4.0 out of 5. That’s by far the largest owner base of any model here.
